Letting my main character do my dirty work--another maniacal meme!

Let's face it, a meme is just another name for a chain letter (without the benefit of winning the lottery after you pass it on to seven other people).  Nonetheless, it's still fun--especially when it's being passed around to various creative writers :o)

I was recently tagged to participate in a meme by two wonderful friends Anita Howard and Jenny Phresh.  The meme was very wholesome and harmless when it left Anita's blog, but upon reaching Jenny's, it was given a healthy dose of psychedelic drugs.  Before I knew it, it was like Woodstock, with acid-laden memes popping up all over the blogosphere!  I started to panic.  I don't have much time for writing lately (because the kids are home all day), so the idea of using what little bit of time I do have to come up with a witty and creative meme made me feel more guilt ridden than a Facebook addict.  BUT, I found a way around the guilt.  What if I made this meme into a creative writing exercise?  I could use this meme to get to know my mc better!  Ha-HA!  That's it!

I went ahead and picked my four favorite questions from each version of the meme.  The first four are from Anita's, the second from Jenny's, but I will not be answering them.  Instead, I've decided to hand the reins over to the main character of my WIP, sixteen-year-old Allison.  Enjoy!

Do you think you're hot?
Whether I think it or not is beside the point.  I'm a succubus, so being hot sorta comes with the territory.

When was the last time you ate chicken meat?
You mean, as opposed to chicken beak or chicken butt?

List the songs you listened to recently.
I've been listening to a lot of my mom's old C.D.'s, so a lot of Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and Pearl Jam.  I know I sound like a dork, but listening to the same music she used to makes me feel closer to her.

Do you have nicknames?
Kids at school think they're freakin' hilarious when they call me 'Dark Allie.' Obviously, their small-town brains can't handle anyone who doesn't look like they do.

If you could go back in time and kick the crap out of someone, who would it be?
CEO of the snob-mob, Julie Sims.  Ugh . . . she is such a bitch!  I would've saved myself a lot of trouble if I'd just kicked her ass the day I met her.

What song would you like to be playing while you are kicking the crap out of someone?
"Today" by Smashing Pumpkins

Where da muffin top at?
Easy--just look at Julie Sims midsection when she wears her two-sizes-too-small, low-rise jeans

Why does evil exist?
I'm sure a lot of it has to do with idiots making deals with the devil (a certain shallow ancestor of mine included)

********************************************************************************************

Woo-hoo!  That was so much fun!  Okay, so now I'm supposed to tag some people to participate, but . . . playing around in Allison's head put me in a rule-breaking mood (I know, I'm such a rebel), so I'm not gonna ;-).  However, if anyone would like to take a stab at it, feel free!  :o)

  9. @Jen- I know, right? lol. The girl has no inner censorship and just says what's on her mind. I think we all wish we could be like that sometimes ;o)
