“Sure!” The last thing my over-excited body needs is caffeine, but I don’t want to hurt his feelings.
“It’s still really hot, so be careful.” My dad hands me the steaming cup likes he’s passing me a stick of dynamite.
I smile. “Thanks.” I can smell a hint of hazelnut in the steam bellowing out of the little hole in the lid. “Hazelnut?”
“Yeah.” My dad's eyes narrow. “You still like hazelnut, right?”
